Our
courses
|
|
Ours
are
conversation courses, addressed to all
the
“inquisitive” curious travellers that want to combine a
vacation with
the knowledge of the
daily-spoken language,
the culture
and
the traditions,
in the context of one of the
most
interesting regions
of the Italian peninsula. |
|
Our goal is to give the "learner",
besides the basic grammar, a
communication-based approach
to the language, focused on the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), in order to be able to speak and converse in the foreign country, to interact and be independent in any
daily life-situation. |
|
Structure of our courses
|
|
Our
ordinary courses
are structured in 3 levels:
|
|
1st level -
|
for
beginners with basic knowledge
|
|
2nd level -
|
intermediate
- grammatical and lexical
enhancement
of the acquired knowledge
|
|
3rd level -
|
advanced
- of improvement
|
|
Seminars
Some lessons of the course will be focused on
specific topics
(cuisine, ceramics, workmanship of the papyrus,
archaeology, architecture, etc.)
|
|
Advanced courses
On
demand,
advanced courses
are organized, aiming to a
specialistic and technical
knowledge
of the Italian language.
|
|
Individual courses
We organize as well courses for individuals with
particular requirements.
|
|
CILS Courses
Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language
In
agreement with the
Foreigners
University of Siena, we run preparatory courses for the
CILS
exams
for all levels. For the preparation to the CILS exams it is necessary to
attend a course of two weeks minimum, of 30 hours per week. The dates for the
CILS courses depend on those of the examination at Siena Univeristy. The
didactic material is provided by the school.
|
|
|
|
Our
teachers are
highly qualified, with university and post-university studies and teaching practice, in
Italy and abroad; they're also able to speak the main European
languages and therefore
communicate
in the students’ mother-tongue and better interact with them.
|
|
The
different levels
the courses are structured in, allow the learner to attend the
most suitable class to his own skills.
|
|
We'll
submit the students
an
entry test, in order to evaluate their knowledge of the Italian language, and
enroll them in the most appropriate course.
|
The
didactic material
will be provided by the school and it’s included in the course’s price.
Courses are enriched
with
extra-curricular
activities, meant to work as practise-aid.
Our
ordinary courses usually have a maximum number of 10 student.
